After many years of development and construction, Water Street is now (almost) officially completed. Phase 1 began in 2017, and the development has cost an estimated $3.5 billion, so it’s definitely been a labor of love. Bill Gates’ investment firm Cascade Investment and Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik and partners combined forces on the project and created a joint venture in Strategic Property Partners.
