James is a military service member who was originally assigned to MacDill Air Force Base and needed housing for at least 6 months, potentially longer. James wanted to be close enough for an easy commute to the base, but also wanted to be in a nice area within walking distance to a range of restaurants.
Because of James’ position in the military, he was on a fixed per diem, so we had to ensure we met his criteria, and ensure we could stay within his budget. We placed James in one of our Westshore rentals, conveniently and centrally located in Tampa, and just a short 15-minute drive to MacDill Air Force Base. Even better is the fact it’s within walking distance of some of Tampa’s best dining and steakhouses.
Because military service members can be deployed with very little notice, we were extremely flexible with James’ stay. Just two months in, he was deployed to the Middle East and needed to leave with just two days’ notice, and we were happy to be able to accommodate this. Three months later, James returned to Tampa and, of course, reached out to us again, where we were able to place him in an almost identical floor plan right in the same Westshore area, where he stayed for another 6 months until the end of his assignment. James could trust that we were able to take care of him, so much so he has referred more than 5 other military service members since working with us!
